Chalet Le Riez is a traditional ski chalet in Morzine, part of the Portes du Soleil ski region with 750km of pistes. The spacious accommodation boasts 3 bedrooms on the first floor and an open plan lounge, kitchen, dining area on the ground floor. The chalet offers sleeping 6 or 7 upstairs with additional room for 1 or 2 in the lounge area. It is available to rent all year round. Holidays start on a Sunday in peak season with more flexibility at other times of the year.
Situated on a quiet road only 5 minutes walk from the Super Morzine cable car and less than 10 minutes walk into town where you can find numerous restaurants and bars. You can get to the Pleney cable car by a 10 minute walk or a short ride on the 'Petite Train' which starts at the end of the road (by the Super Morzine lift). The navette buses run in the next road a 2 minute walk away. There is a supermarket (Ed) 2 minutes walk away.
There is a full kitchen with all you need for a perfect self-catering holiday. You will find a 32" LCD TV with English freeview, a DVD player & DVDs and all you need for a home away from home. We have cosy english carpets fitted to the whole upstairs too! Free wifi now available in our chalet.
There is lockable storage for skis/snowboards which also holds up to 4 mountain bikes and additional bike storage for 3 adult bikes in a secure protectacycle store.
As from the Summer of 2011 we are a Multipass participating accommodation. Activities and transport over the whole Portes du Soleil for 1 Euro a day. Please see here for details
With much to offer, Morzine and the surrounding area is perfect for skiers, walkers, mountain bikers, golfers and the more adventurous outdoor sportsperson.
